You must include a completed export health certificate (EHC) for each type of animal or animal product you export from the UK to a non-EU country.
An EHC is an official document that confirms your export meets the health requirements of the destination country.
If you’re exporting a consignment which includes a mix of products, you’ll need an EHC for each product type.
Once you have identified the EHC then contact us where we will review your requirements and advice you to name us as your OV.

We have developed a secure IT package to allow fast and accurate completion of export health certification. So if your provider says that it will take hours to complete all the export health certificate, we have a solution. Contact us, and we can provide you with details s of the package even if we are not your Certification officers.
The APHA has a website where you can apply for health certification. There is no cost to register or apply for the Export Health Certificates.
On the APHA site for application of the Export Health Certificate, you will need to insert AIO Partners Ltd as the nominated certifier. Once this is done then we will be alert to your application and make final arrangements.
Depending on the requirement of the Export Health Certificate we will advise you what we require at the visit and how long it may take. This will allow you to make preparation. Please note that we will not be able to complete an Export Health Certificate once the product has been dispatched we are not abe to retrospective certification.
Depending on the requirement we will need to ensure that the certification conditions are being met. This will consist of examining the products to ensure they they are as laid on in the specification of the products.
Frequently, we will require you to seal the containers which we need to insert on the Export Health Certification.
Once completed we will give you the original and retain a certified copy.

These are products which may have “Composite Products” are defined in Article 2(a) of Commission Decision
2007/275/EC as “a foodstuff intended for human consumption that contains both processed products of animal origin and products of plant origin and includes those where the processing of primary product is an integral part of the production of the final product”.
Some Products of Animal Orgin are exempt from Export Health Certification. Please contact us and we can advice.
Processed fish products require in some cases catch certificate and processing statement. The processing statement can only produced if the Export health certification reference number is known. We have solution to address these issues with process flows to ensure delays are minised.
If your composite products have gelatine or honey, we can advise you on whether you need a separate export health certificate for your product or not. Please contact us, and we can advise you.
Some Products of Animal Origin have derogation for not requiring Export Health Certification. You will need to apply for derogation. Please contact us and we can advise on the process of getting derogation.
